Collagen Induction Therapy, also known as micro-needling RF or Skin needling, is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles.
Platelet Rich Plasma is a concentration of growth factors, cytokines, platelets on your body which help aid in wound repair, skin rejuvenation and remodeling, and new collagen fibroblasts. 1. A topical numb is applied and left on for 30 minutes.
2. Then a simple blood draw of a small tube of blood is centrifuged to separate blood components with the plasma on top.
3. Micro-Needling is then performed with the plasma blood placed on the skin which penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin from the newly micro needling channels
